We are looking for a passionate, organised & experienced Womenswear Tailoring designer. You will need to be up to date on the latest fashion trends. You need to be a flexible team player with a great taste level & fashion style and strong communication skills. You will be joining a small and cozy team which works closely together.

Womenswear collections designed by you, for sale in hundreds of stores in great cities all over the planet and in 100+ countries online. Together with the entire team you are in close contact with the Hong Kong office to work out our collection with the local Buying and Merchandise team and manufacturers. Most of the time you will work in the Design Studio, vested in a former church in the heart of Amsterdam. With natural daylight entering from the dome ceiling windows and with a view of the Keizersgracht, a special inspiring place to work. Despite the tight deadlines, the atmosphere is relaxed.

Please note for this position and in general at the brand- the work process is very digital. We will be training the team in 3D design, the designers are responsible for CAD-ing all of their designs, and maintaining the design updates. They are responsible for all admin surrounding their product category as well as managing price buildup and breakdown.

Our ideal candidate;

• A Bachelor's degree in Fashion

• At least 5-8 years of working experience in Women’s fashion design of blazers, bottom and leather categories for bottoms (pants) it is both tailoring and casual (elasticated waists/cargo's)

• should have experience with patterns and working in tailoring divisions

• Highly skilled in Illustrator and Photoshop (3D design is a plus)

• Strong technical knowledge of garment construction and fit process

• Knowhow of draping a mannequin

• Flexible mentality, able to adjust quickly

• Knowledge of various types of fabrics, you will be working with all textile mediums

• Knowledge on global trend-leading (luxury) street/ casual-wear brands
