MOAM for HEMA
One collective, 4 designers, 20 items, 160 combinations.
The designers collection of MOAM for HEMA is the perfect addition to the Dutch wardrobe. The collection, which consists of 20 pieces, is designed by the four designers of MOAM Collective sticking to the following principle ''A comfortable and familiar collection for the Dutch consumer''. The collection will be in stores from the end of September in more than 200 HEMA stores.
The collection consists of stylish fashion items. For example the woman’s collection contains a blazer, blouse and a little black dress. The men’s collection contains amongst others a shirt and a knitted sweater. The collection also consists of several unisex items like a bomber jack and a sweater.
Initiator Martijn Nekoui composed the design team of MOAM for HEMA. The designers are fashion alumni students Dewi Bekker, Sanne Faber, Julie de Ruijter and Tess van Zalinge. The past few months they have been closely supervised by coaches amongst who Frans AnkoneÌ (Avenue en Vogue), Peter Leferink (head design AMFI) and Mariette Hoitink (HTNK, Jeans School). Important names in the fashion industry like Frans Molenaar, Olcay Gulsen, Claes Iversen and editors in chief of LINDA magazine Jildou van der Bijl and Iebele van der Meulen have supported the collective by giving advise.
MOAM was founded to transfer the fantastic and unique knowledge from the Dutch fashion industry to the new generation. By developing a coaching project on the level of collection design, young designers receive practical tools from the top of the industry, which will be useful for the rest of their career. MOAM acts as a platform and incubator in which talent is shaped and developed. More info about MOAM here.
