PRODUCT MANAGER BODY CARE
HTNK is looking for a PRODUCT MANAGER BODY CARE for a well-known lifestyle brand, located in Amsterdam!
This is a fulltime position.
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Develop and support product innovation projects within a specific Product Category – Body Care.
As the Product Manager Body Care you will identify new product innovation ideas that truly make the brand stand out. Develop new innovative concepts, focusing on a strong and authentic product story, top-quality product USPs (use or formulation) and well thought-through packaging (incl. environmental aspect). Co-create 360 story around product innovation and maintain, extend and re-launch existing products to keep them successful in assortment. This role requires a strategic, forward thinking and a creative mindset as concept ideation will be key in the role.
Contribute to long-term planning of product group category
Execute competitive researches, external/internal analysis, product tests, business analyses.
Monitor and adjust project progress / launch in a timely manner

Independently perform product innovation projects
Support product group manager in execution of complex product innovation projects.
Ability to look / think ahead i.e. where should we aspire to go with the category?
Executing maintenance, re-launch or extension of existing products
Closely work with product development team / supply during production phase of products
Performing innovation evaluations on executed launches
Advising improvements / changes to innovations based on consumer feedback, sales numbers, best practices. Strategic / tactical recommendations should be pro-actively shared.
Experience in people management: ability to bring out the best in people based on their own unique profile.
- Degree from higher professional or academic university
- Minimum of 6-8 years relevant experience in product development or relevant experience in the cosmetics industry (product and market knowledge).
- Operates with excellence with a strong eye for detail & focus for quality: ability to translate bigger strategic pictures into detailed level of execution
- Analytical & strategic thinking, you understand the numbers and are able to anticipate on the insights
- Structured, solution-focused, hands-on mentality and pro-active
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
